Join the JLD's international development activity
Get your law career off to a great start and gain a year's CPD by taking part in an exciting overseas charity adventure with the 2010 Junior Lawyers Division (JLD) public service project, in association with youth and education charity Raleigh. You'll develop team working and leadership skills - all while helping a very good cause.
The JLD invites junior lawyers as well as partners from their law firms to attend the official launch of its groundbreaking international project on 2 February in London to find out how everyone can benefit. This unparalleled opportunity follows a hugely successful pilot project in Borneo last October, where 13 junior lawyers worked tirelessly for two weeks to help bring a clean water system to the village of Sabah.

JLD executive committee member Annalisa Checchi says: "This is an excellent way to boost your corporate social responsibility agenda, and is an extremely worthwhile charitable cause in a developing country.
It is a physical, mental, emotional and professional development challenge for the participant - as well as providing genuine life-changing charitable assistance to the community. "
Full details of the next charitable endeavour and how you can get involved will be provided at the introductory event.
